Repair of the suspension bridge linking Halifax to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, above the Port of Halifax. The work included, among others, replacement of two modular expansion joints and bridge deck panels adjacent to the joints

  • 2 LX-14 modular joints (14 modules) weighing some 40 tonnes each and measuring 16.2 m (52.5 ft.) long by 4 m (13 ft.) wide
  • Amplitude of movement: 927 mm (36.5 in.) serviceability limit state (SLS) and up to 1343 mm (53 in.) ultimate limit state (ULS)
