Goodco Z-Tech across the years

Goodco Z-Tech was formed through the merger or two competitors following a strategic acquisition by Canam Group. Under the direction of Structal-Bridges, Goodco Z-Tech pursues its development and growth throughout Canada, and strives to maintain its leadership in the manufacture of structural bearings, expansion joints and related products for bridges and civil engineering structures.

2010
Creation of the Goodco Z-Tech Internet site.

Goodco Z-Tech manufactured and delivered its largest modular expansion joints for the A. Murray Mackay Bridge in Halifax, NS.

The plant also obtained its largest contract ever : fabrication of more than 500 structural bearings and some 2,706.70 ft. (825 m) of expansion joints. These products will be installed on 25 bridges being constructed for the completion of Highway 30 in the Montreal region.

2009
Goodco Z-Tech secures its largest contract to date for the Ministère des Transports du Québec: the rebuilding of the Arthur-Branchaud Bridge that links the cities of Beloeil and Mont-Saint-Hilaire in Quebec.

2007
In February 2007, the Goodco Z-Tech team moved to the Canam Group plant located in Laval. Goodco Z-Tech is the largest Canadian manufacturer of structural bearings and expansion joints for the highway infrastructure and bridge market and for civil engineering projects.

2006
In November 2006, Canam Group acquired the majority of Goodco and Z-Tech shares, and combined the activities of these two companies under the name of Goodco Z-Tech.

This new entity is under the direction of Structal-Bridges, which operates in the highly specialized field of design, manufacture, and installation of steel bridges.

1979
Z-Tech Inc. was founded in Boisbriand. The company specialized in the design and manufacture of expansion joints.

1945
Goodco Ltd. was founded in Laval, QC. The company specialized in the design of structural bearings.
